Cat 52 OH CANADA

Cat 52 here

Went to the demolition derby last night at the Western fair. I’m getting used to all the attention now. Except the attention I got when we were told to rise for our national anthem and REMOVE OUR HATS. Obviously I did no such thing, and got alot of disrespectful looks. That was embarrising…talk about being put on the spot.

Kirk said he DIDN’T take it off….he’s flaunting THAT fact, and I don’t think the world is going to end because you disrespected Canada by not taking off your hat. (In school some kids didn’t stand for the anthem, and we didn’t boo on them :P)
GOOD ON YA KIRK FOR STANDING UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN…
…with you hat on 😉 lol

I Know it is disrespectful but rules are rules and you were not to take it off. It may have been embarrassing but I commend you for keeping it on.

I’m pretty sure they said NOT to take it off… not for an anthem, not for a funeral, not for church… so if you took yours off then maybe you shouldn’t be flaunting that fact…
